Core Areas of Focus Foundational Mastery: We strip away the intimidation of the blank canvas by mastering the "Building Blocks of Realism." This includes: Anatomy & Proportion: Understanding the skeletal and muscular structures. Light & Shadow: Using Chiaroscuro techniques to create 3D depth on a 2D surface .Color Theory: Mastering the chemistry of pigments to mix vibrant, lifelike palettes. The Professional’s Workflow: You won't just paint; you will learn to think like a professional. We cover everything from proper canvas preparation and underpainting to the final glazing and preservation of your work. Developing Your Creative Voice: Technique without soul is just a draft. Once the rules are learned, we focus on how to break them. We explore: Stylistic Exploration: Experimenting with Impressionism, Surrealism, and Abstract methods. Visual Storytelling: Using composition and mood to communicate a specific message or emotion.
