About Manahil
I am a licensed practitioner of law from Pakistan, currently doing my Master of Laws at Durham University. During the course of my GCSE O and A-levels I held the role of teaching assistant and summer schoolteacher for exam preparation and crash courses of English and Mathematics. I went on to hold teaching assistant positions during the course of my Law degree, for Commercial Law and Critical Debates in Education. I have also given private in person tutoring to students in their O and A levels during my term breaks. Teaching for is a source of giving back the knowledge my teachers were kind enough to impart to me, and it fills me with a sense of gratification to be able to help and guide individuals moving through the same stream I once went through.

About the lesson

Lessons will be planned in collaboration with the student, by identifying a broad outline that needs to be covered in order to master the subject area and topic, while at the same time, highlighting areas that the student believes they need extra support with; additional support areas will have separate time allocated for them. The lectures will not involve cold calling, but rather a more collaborative approach towards understanding the topic. I believe in both, leading the student and being led by the student for an effective learning experience.
