About Ben
I'm presently studying an Acting MA at East 15 in London, but previously took History and Politics at Durham University. I have three A-Levels A*AA in Theatre, History and French and seven 9s at GCSE. Therefore, I have quite a strong knowledge across several subject areas.
I really enjoy going back to lots of these subjects which I no longer study and sharing my knowledge. It's really rewarding to see students get to grips with things they've been struggling with when someone actually listens and cares.
I was in those classrooms only a few years ago so I know what it's like and I know the different types of students who exist there and how they need helping.

My lessons are all about a personalised approach. I want to know what the student needs to improve and help target there. After all, the point of extra tutoring is just to clear up things that classroom teaching cannot.
I really want to make learning fun because if students don't enjoy themselves, they won't want to learn. This means I tailor my methodology to suit not only the student, but where I can find the fun in the subject. Then hopefully down the line, the fun we had will keep the learning engrained in the student's mind.
