About Margot Kelly
Offering summertime lessons only. Teaching music has been my passion since high school. I received my degree in music education from the University of Portland and have since taught 18+ years as a public school music teacher, private lesson instructor and performer. I strive to have fun in all I do while keeping high standards and lofty goals. My students not only enjoy our lessons, but become accomplished musicians and driven individuals with a sense of personal pride and self confidence not only in music, but in life.

I have taught kindergarten through 12th grade students in general music, solo and choral singing, pre-band instruments (orff, recorder, percussion), beginning, concert and jazz band, ukulele and guitar, and music theory, drama, and dance. I believe everyone has music inside them and it is my job to help them bring it out. Not everyone is skilled in music, but anyone can enjoy music. I am teaching lessons during the summer to give students a boost and allow them to focus on lesson work.
