About Jacob
Hello, my name is Jacob and having attained 4 A*s at A-level and a first class mark of 89 so far at university, I am confident that I can provide any student with the mastery in both subject matter and exam technique that will enable them to achieve the grades of their dreams.
Additionally, as an LSE economics student I have a genuine passion for the subjects that I teach and always aim to instill a similar excitement in my students. Over the past year I have tutored for over 100 hours, refining my ability to explain concepts in an interesting but thorough manner, a characteristic that I am proud of.
But what I can offer is more than passive tutorials. As a current student myself, I am aware of exactly what study skills and academic habits can propel one towards top grades outside of lessons and will happily discuss these with my students.

Perfect! Very Helpful with Detailed Explanations
Jacob gives detailed explanations in the economics topics that I go though and helps very much to better my understanding. He also uses diagrams often and asks me to think of examples to implement into what we go through to help me understand and remember more. This is very effective as by allowing me to use my own examples I find it easier to recall information. He has helped me a lot since he started tutoring me and would definitely recommend him.
