About Elysha
Hi, I'm Elysha! I graduated with a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering in 2017 and I currently work in cosmetic chemistry. I took up to Calculus IV in college and have always loved math. I can tutor in algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, and calculus (likely up to Calc II).

I believe in the Socratic method for teaching and tutoring where the best way to help someone is to help them get to the answer themselves. My style is to ask guiding questions to help you get to the solution using what you already know. This process requires patience and faith, not only from me, but you too! The good news is, it's highly effective, and helps you build skills to where you are much stronger on your own afterwards.
I intend to operate on an "as needed" basis for tutoring. I can help with homework or exam prep.
