About Subhajit
I have a degree in Economics and International Development from the University of Sussex. I am an online tutor and my aim is to support the learning of my students using my education and skills. I have experience in teaching before and I helped my students achieve better grades. Teaching has made me an effective communicator, therefore I can explain difficult concepts clearly and in an easy way to understand.
Initially, I will assess the current ability of my students and discuss what they want to achieve within a certain time frame. I will then devise a structured programme that suits their learning. Regular feedback will be provided and progress will be closely monitored.

As a tutor, I want to help my students achieve the best grades. I want them to learn as much as possible from my lessons. I do this by making sure that each lesson focuses on a specific topic or area of weakness. Firstly, I will introduce the topic and go through it in detail. During the lesson, I will give my student the chance to ask any questions he or she might have to clarify his or her understanding. Towards the end of the lesson, I will give my students exercises to complete and we will go through the answers. This will help me to provide useful feedback.
My lessons are 1 hour long which allows me to cover as much relevant content as possible without cramming too much information in. This gives the student the chance to understand more which is more beneficial for long-term learning. Depending on how the student learns best, I will use different techniques. For those that work well with a more written style of teaching, I will use bullet points and paragraphs. For more visual learners, I will use a more graphical and pictorial format. Overall, I aim to make my lessons interactive, engaging and helpful!
