About Orla
My interest in economics began with curiosity about how markets operate, how governments influence economic systems, and how financial decisions affect individuals, businesses, and societies in everyday life. This curiosity encouraged me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics followed by a Master’s Degree in Applied Economics. During the past 8 years, I have guided students through economics learning using structured teaching and supportive instruction. I enjoy simplifying complex economic ideas into clear, manageable lessons that learners can understand comfortably. Watching students grow in confidence while analyzing economic problems continues to motivate me as an educator. My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding, consistency, and encouragement rather than pressure-based learning. I believe students learn best when they feel supported and free to ask questions.
Throughout my teaching experience, I have worked with school students, college learners, and exam-focused students preparing for academic success. These experiences helped me understand how to adapt teaching methods to different learning speeds and goals. I use real-world examples, graphs, and structured analysis to strengthen understanding. I also encourage students to think independently and build confidence through regular practice. Many learners appreciate my calm and clear teaching style because it helps them stay engaged during complex topics.
