About Erblina
I’m a Mathematics graduate from the University of Edinburgh and am currently completing my MSc in Operational Research, also at Edinburgh. Mathematics has been a major part of my academic journey, from pure mathematical subjects to statistics, probability, optimisation and real-world problem-solving.
Alongside university, I’m the Founder and Executive Director of EngineeringHER Future, a youth STEM organisation in Kosovo. Through this work, I have supported and mentored young people in STEM education, engineering and technology projects.
I have also advised student teams from Kosovo competing at TEKNOFEST, supporting students as they developed technical projects for international competition. Working with young people through these programmes has taught me how important it is to explain difficult concepts patiently and in a way that makes sense to the individual student.
I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I want students to feel completely comfortable asking questions or admitting when something doesn’t make sense. I know from my own experience studying mathematics that sometimes all it takes is hearing the same concept explained in a different way for it to finally click.

I believe maths becomes much easier when you understand why something works rather than simply memorising formulae and steps. My lessons focus on building that understanding first, then applying it through examples, problem-solving and exam-style questions.
I adapt each lesson to the individual student. We can work through a topic from the foundations, identify gaps in understanding, practise challenging questions, or focus specifically on exam and assessment preparation. I encourage students to explain their reasoning and ask questions freely — there is never a problem with saying “I don’t understand” or asking me to explain something differently.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and can be adapted depending on the student’s needs and goals.
I am a Mathematics graduate from the University of Edinburgh and am currently completing an MSc in Operational Research at Edinburgh, where I work extensively with mathematics, statistics, optimisation and analytical problem-solving. I also have experience mentoring young people in STEM and advising student technology teams competing internationally.
I teach Mathematics and Statistics from National 5 through Higher and Advanced Higher to university level, depending on the subject or topic. I can support areas including algebra, trigonometry, geometry, probability, statistics and mathematical logic.
My goal is not simply to help you reach the right answer, but to make sure you understand how to get there yourself.
