About Lucas
I am a twenty-year-old Edinburgh Napier student with a passion for the arts, both in performance and in creative writing. I am also incredibly interested in critical analysis and would be happy to assist a student with understanding how best to read/watch texts from a critical standpoint based on my years of experience in the field.
I hold Highers and Advanced Highers in English and Drama and my institution, Edinburgh Napier, is a Top 5 UK modern university for both subjects.

I am excited to be able to offer either specialised hour-long sessions or more in-depth three hour sessions in:
- Acting (in which we will begin with the fundamentals of performance, moving on through each session until the student is both confident and capable as a performer)
- Creative Writing (beginning with that first spark of an idea for a novel, poem, play or short story, and giving practical advice and further steps into areas such as setting, character, structure and theming)
- Film Analysis (working through a list of either classic films or, at the student’s request, a specific film or film series - perfect for honing your understanding of a certain topic)
