About Jane

I bring two decades of teaching experience to the table, holding qualifications in both Portuguese Language and Literature and History. My services, offered via Skype, draw on a wealth of experience acquired at leading UK educational institutions and in collaboration with international corporations. I've successfully helped a diverse group of students from around the world improve their Portuguese proficiency.

Currently, I'm further advancing my skills in Portuguese pedagogy for non-native speakers, aiming to make your learning experience as authentic and engaging as possible.

In addition to helping you prepare for exams, refining your accent, and enhancing your presentation and interview skills, my ultimate goal is to boost your fluency and understanding of Portuguese.

Let's start crafting your personalised Portuguese learning journey. Book a trial lesson with me, and let's plan your classes during our initial meeting. Together, we'll navigate the path to linguistic confidence and mastery in Portuguese.

About the lesson

As your native Portuguese tutor, I'm excited to offer you bespoke lessons through Skype, perfectly tailored to meet your unique learning goals and requirements.

Join me on a transformative journey of linguistic growth, with courses carefully crafted to advance your career, enrich your travels, and deepen connections with loved ones. These courses focus on conversation, pronunciation, and speed learning. I provide affordable, private tutoring that comes with the benefits of online learning, including group discounts, savings for advance bookings, and a complimentary trial lesson. Plus, you have the flexibility to adjust your schedule without penalty up to 24 hours before your lesson. My dedication to flexibility and rapid improvement aims to provide peace of mind and a rewarding learning experience for every student, regardless of age or specific needs.

Feeling daunted by the prospect of speaking Portuguese, or perhaps struggling with confidence? Worried that others might not understand your efforts?

I'm here to support you every step of the way.

I bring a deep understanding of the common mistakes learners make, effective strategies to enhance your pronunciation, and techniques to help you speak and understand Portuguese as a native speaker would. My expertise extends to boosting your listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Whether you're interested in conversational Portuguese for everyday use, discussions on current affairs, culture, society, or even business Portuguese for the professional realm, I've got everything you need. This includes mastery of business terminology, conducting presentations, engaging in negotiations, crafting emails, and managing telephone conversations in Portuguese.

Furthermore, I provide targeted instruction on pronunciation, vocabulary expansion, and the nuances of idioms and expressions.

My teaching approach is tailored to support individuals passionate about mastering Portuguese as an additional language. My lessons are dynamic and engaging, underpinned by my extensive academic background in language education.

By leveraging a vast array of resources, including textbooks, articles, research, visuals, and podcasts, I ensure a thorough and comprehensive learning experience. I'm here to assist with your exam preparation, accent reduction, interview techniques, presentation skills, and even travel and leisure planning.

With a supportive, patient, inventive, and friendly approach, I'm committed to facilitating an enriching journey of linguistic exchange in Portuguese, customised just for you.
