About Yi-Hsuan
I am a current postgraduate student of Univeristy of Glasgow with a major in Education. I have been a certified high school English teacher for four years in Taiwan. In addition to the professional training and experience of English teaching, I also received the training of teaching Chinese. During 2014 and 2015, I worked as a Chinese teaching assistant in Concordia College in the United States.

As a native Mandarin speaker as well as an experienced language teacher, I can help students with systematic, authentic language knowledge and encourage learners to apply the knowledge to day-to-day communication. With professional training as a language teacher, I can tailor lesson plans based on students' needs and expectations, help students to strengthen communicative skills and offer useful learning strategies to improve fluency. I once helped half of my American students worked and studied in Asian countries (China, Taiwan and Japan). For me, learning a language is never complete without learning its culture. Therefore, in my lesson, I usually organize cultural events for my students and design lesson plan to integrate culture into my teaching.
I like teaching language, sharing culture meeting new people and understanding different cultures in depth. And I am looking forward to sharing and learning from you!
