About Samantha
I am an educator, executive function coach, and learning specialist with an M.A. in Educational Psychology and more than 20 years of experience supporting students from elementary school through adulthood. My work focuses on helping students who learn differently build confidence, independence, and practical academic strategies that fit the way their brains work. I specialize in supporting students with ADHD, learning differences, executive functioning challenges, anxiety, and school-related overwhelm. My background includes tutoring, mentoring, literacy instruction, academic coaching, student support, and work in both school and nonprofit settings. I also bring personal understanding to this work, which allows me to approach students with patience, respect, and compassion. My teaching style is structured, warm, and strengths-based. I help students break tasks into manageable steps, understand expectations, organize their work, strengthen study habits, and develop tools for planning, focus, motivation, and follow-through. My goal is not only to help students complete assignments, but to help them feel more capable, understood, and prepared for future learning.

offer neurodiversity-affirming executive function coaching, study skills support, and academic tutoring for students who learn differently. With an M.A. in Educational Psychology and over 20 years of experience supporting children, teens, college students, and adults, I help learners build practical strategies for organization, focus, planning, homework completion, studying, motivation, and confidence.
My lessons are warm, structured, and individualized. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all tutoring. Instead, I help students understand how they learn best and create tools they can actually use in school and daily life. Sessions may include homework support, study planning, test preparation, writing support, reading strategies, time management, and executive function skill-building.
I specialize in supporting students with ADHD, learning differences, anxiety, and executive functioning challenges. My goal is to help students feel capable, understood, and less overwhelmed while giving families clearer insight into what their child needs to succeed.
