About Claire
Hello! I have recently graduated from Edinburgh University with a degree in Mathematics. I have developed an effective tutoring style over my time at university and have the passion and patience required to make maths intuitive.
I work well with children and teenagers of all ages, having volunteered for a number of years with local youth groups. Over the course of my degree I have also gained experience of working with older students.

I plan lessons in detail to ensure the content is tailored to the student and to facilitate meaningful improvement in a student's grade. I focus on understanding the intuition of the methods taught to allow the student to fully understand the process, and then tackle questions effectively themselves.
I have an strong knowledge of both the Scottish and English curriculums and can adapt as required to other systems.
