About Marvin
I am studying Computer Science at a Russell Group University, and have a knack for teaching subjects which I enjoy. From 2-3 years of experience in tutoring GCSE maths and science and general reading on teaching methods, I have gained an understanding of how the human brain learns and remembers and what can be done to aid that process.

Lessons are focused on pinpointing weaknesses and furthering learning by using engaging teaching methods, which translates to better exam skills and performance.
Initially, my objective is to build a positive relationship and confidence in the subject and then to set clear and attainable goals. Once we begin learning, the lessons will be structured such that the last lessons' content and homework are recapped, and a new concept is taught and tested through examples, past paper practice questions and discussion which promotes thinking critically and asking why.
The student's progress will all be documented and the data analysed in order to find weaknesses. Topic tests will be carried out to ensure a complete understanding of concepts and additional useful resources can be provided.
