About Susannah
I have a Cambridge CELTA Qualification to teach English to speakers of other languages and a law degree. Before training as an English teacher, I worked as a Solicitor for 32 years. I taught English to adults in Morocco in 2022 and Spain in 2023. In 2024, I have taught adults at International House in London and am currently teaching teenagers with English as an additional language in London. I have a clear enhanced DBS certificate. I am a native British English speaker and also speak intermediate French and Spanish.

I teach general English as a Foreign or additional Language (elementary to advanced) and business and legal English to adults and children. Classes are based on what you find interesting or wish or need to learn and usually take one hour. The emphasis during the lessons is on encouraging fluency with improved pronunciation and listening skills and increasing vocab with an explanation of grammar points when needed. I correct written English as homework and can also help you prepare for exams. We can discuss what and how you wish to learn at the 30-minute initial free lesson.
