About Isaac
Heya, I'm Isaac!
I'm 19 years old and just beginning my second year at the University of Warwick studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering. My degree, for me, is the perfect combination of maths and physics, it answers that question everybody asks at school, "Sir, why do we have to do maths? I'm never going to use it!" I achieved an A* in Maths, A in Physics and A in History at A-Level before starting university.
Maths doesn't have to be a subject you suffer through at school, but rather a new and interesting way to view the world around you. I have sat through many a maths lesson, in the not-so-distant past, and the ones which really stood out to me were the ones which explained things I could see. Whether it's Trigonometry, Algebra or Statistics which is weighing you down, I'm confident that I can help you appreciate its utility, and in doing so, help you truly consolidate the ins and outs of how it works, and how you can use it to answer any question you face.
Aside from mathematics, my other passions are tennis and guitar. I have been a tennis coach for the last 4 years working with children and adults of all ages, as well as an avid player, competing wherever I can, both individually and socially. I was trained in electric guitar, completing grade 8 and favouring 70's rock, and have since found great enjoyment in acoustic genres, performing both covers, and original songs.
