About Ivan
I am a current 3rd and 4th grade Reading, Writing and Social Studies Teacher at an Elementary in Houston Texas. I have been teaching for 9 years. Most of the students I teach come to me with an academic deficit and my job is to grow them one year and a half in one school year. I love what I teach and would love to extend it to this platform also.

My approach in teaching a skill is gradual release. Which means I would teach it, then we work on it together and then the student will be confident to do it on their own after multiple times being exposed to the skill.
Small groups are the core of my teaching. Students learn faster and more when the group is smaller.
My lesson plans would be for elementary students that need help in reading or writing.
