First grade is my specialty! I can work with any grade level that is struggling with reading. I typically start with an assessment to base where my student's reading level is, where some misconceptions may take place, what decodables would be appropriate without frustrating the student, and determining where to go from the testing. While first grade is what I teach now, that does not limit me from assisting with any level of reading you may be. Flexibility is part of my job as a teacher and will accommodate as needed.
