About Scotte
As a flute tutor with over 8 years of experience, I am committed to helping students discover the joy of music. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals with different learning goals and experience levels. My lessons are carefully planned to suit each student's ability and help them progress confidently.
My teaching style combines communication, creativity, motivation, flexibility, and positive encouragement. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable and supported. I focus on creating an enjoyable learning environment where students are free to ask questions, explore new ideas, and improve through regular practice.
In addition to flute, I teach music theory, rhythm training, ear training, breathing exercises, beginner keyboard, sight reading, improvisation basics, and performance preparation. Learning these related subjects helps students understand music more completely and perform with greater confidence.
I pay close attention to developing proper posture, breathing control, finger placement, tone production, musical expression, and performance confidence. I also help students build disciplined practice habits that lead to continuous improvement. Every lesson includes practical exercises, helpful feedback, and realistic goals.
During my teaching career, I have helped many students prepare for school functions, competitions, music examinations, college events, and personal performances. I enjoy seeing students become more confident as they improve their musical abilities and achieve their personal goals.
For me, teaching is about more than sharing knowledge. It is about inspiring students to enjoy learning, believe in themselves, and appreciate the beauty of music. I am dedicated to making every lesson meaningful, enjoyable, and rewarding while helping students build skills that will benefit them throughout their musical journey.

My goal is to make flute learning enjoyable, meaningful, and rewarding. My teaching style is based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity, helping students become confident and independent musicians.
Each lesson is personalized to match the student's ability and learning speed. Students develop breathing control, posture, finger technique, note reading, rhythm, scales, articulation, and musical expression through regular practice.
I motivate students by celebrating progress and encouraging positive practice habits. Communication helps students understand concepts clearly and confidently. Integrity ensures every learner receives patience, fairness, and honest feedback.
Creative learning includes improvisation, musical games, duet practice, ear training, rhythm exercises, and performance coaching. I also teach recorder, beginner keyboard, music theory, sight reading, and music appreciation.
