About David
I am a data analyst who has been tutoring students for about 10 years. I tailor each students experience after gauging their different learning styles. I have taught children aging from 5 to 20 years of age. Students that I have tutored have increased their in class engagement along with improving test scores by an average of 20%. Students leave my tutoring sessions with increased confidence in the skills they already had!

My teaching style varies from student to student by largely based on student centered teaching methods. I work with the student to resolve the problems at hand by breaking down the problem into smaller more manageable prompts. This allows the student to use the problem solving skills they already have. New skills are rooted with fundamentals, so if the student requires more help together we would break down the basics and work up from there. Direct instruction is minimal due to the less engaging nature of that teaching style however, if that is how the student learns it can be added to the lesson structure.
