About Randi
Hi! I’m Dr. Randi Pro, a certified high school Social Studies teacher from Delaware with over 18 years of classroom experience. I currently teach U.S. History, Civics & Economics, and World History, and I love helping students make sense of how the world works—past and present. My approach as a tutor is simple: make learning meaningful, personal, and manageable. I meet students where they are and build their confidence through clear explanations, real-world connections, and strategies that actually stick. Whether you’re preparing for a test, catching up on classwork, or just trying to understand a tricky concept, I’ll help you find what works best for you. My students often say I make Social Studies feel “real” and even fun—which, to me, is the highest compliment. As a high school Social Studies teacher, I believe learning should be engaging, relevant, and confidence-building. I focus on helping students truly understand why things happened—not just memorize dates and definitions. Whether we’re exploring U.S. History, Civics, or Economics, I connect lessons to current events and real-world examples so students see how the past shapes their present.
I tailor each session to the student’s needs, learning style, and goals. Some students need help breaking down complex readings, while others benefit from interactive discussions or visual tools like timelines and charts. My goal is to make every concept clear and help students feel prepared and capable.
I share my knowledge the same way I do in the classroom—with patience, enthusiasm, and practical strategies. I encourage questions, critical thinking, and confidence, so students leave each session not just knowing more, but believing they can succeed.
