About Sara
I am an engineer giving lessons since I was in high school, starting with pre-calculus and slowly expanding my subject expertise as I got my engineering degree in college. I have taught more than 50 students, and all of them have either improved their grades or maintained the grade they wanted by understanding the concepts taught in school.

I've given lessons to people of all ages, from a kindergarten student just needing someone to help them stay focused, to middle-aged adults going to college to expand their job prospects. In that time, I've realized and been fascinated by the fact that everyone learns differently. I try to make sure that I figure out a way for each of my students to understand what exactly they are learning. I also do try and make it interesting, because a lot of my students find the subject matter boring or don't understand why they need to learn this.

My rates can vary depending on the number of students, but I prefer to have a discussion about it rather than set a flat rate, as the feasibility of group classes also needs to be considered. Cancelation policy is approximately 8 hours prior to the lesson.
