About William

As an Engineering graduate and current Master of Teaching student at Victoria University, I bring both strong academic expertise and professional pedagogical training to my tutoring. My background allows me to teach Mathematics and Physics with clarity and precision, while my teacher education ensures that my lessons are structured, engaging, and aligned with curriculum standards.

I focus on building deep understanding, logical reasoning, and exam confidence. Rather than simply giving answers, I guide students step by step through concepts and problem-solving strategies, helping them develop independence and critical thinking skills.

Lessons typically run for 60 minutes and are carefully planned to include concept clarification, guided practice, and targeted feedback. I tailor each session to the student’s goals, whether they need foundational support, exam preparation, or academic extension.

My lessons are suitable for primary, secondary, and VCE students, as well as learners studying Chinese as a second language. I am patient, professional, and committed to helping students achieve measurable academic improvement.

As an Engineering graduate and current Master of Teaching student at Victoria University, I combine strong subject knowledge with evidence-based teaching strategies. My approach focuses on building deep conceptual understanding rather than memorisation. I break down complex ideas in Mathematics, Physics, and Chinese into clear, logical steps and use guided practice to strengthen problem-solving skills.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes and are structured into three parts: concept explanation, worked examples, and independent practice with feedback. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level and learning style, ensuring steady progress and confidence building.

My classes are suitable for primary, secondary, and VCE students, as well as learners studying Chinese as a second language. I aim to create a supportive and structured learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing independent thinking skills.
