About Ayo
Hey, I’m Ayo. My background is in Mechatronics and Computer Systems Engineering, with current experience in software and data.
Maths has always stood out to me because it teaches clear thinking and problem-solving. My teaching style is simple, patient and practical, with big problems broken down into smaller steps.
My experience includes helping KS3 and GCSE students build confidence, understand the basics properly, and improve through steady practice.

I teach Maths in a simple, patient way. I first find out where the student is struggling, then we work through the topic slowly using examples and practice questions.
I learnt that teaching the “why”, as well as the bigger picture, is key to good retention. When students understand what they are doing and why it works, Maths becomes less difficult to learn.
Lessons are usually 60 minutes and are aimed at KS3 and GCSE students. I can help with algebra, fractions, percentages, ratio, graphs, equations and exam practice.
