About Alex
I am a full time professional engineer with over a year of teaching experience offering maths lessons in the Southampton area on evenings and weekends. I have taught both GCSE and A level maths in the past to two different students, both of whom went on to achieve strong grades in their exams. I have a degree in mechanical engineering and A levels in both maths and further maths, at grades A* and A, respectively.

I aim to cement my students foundations in mathematics through practice and discussion whilst teaching the precise techniques used to solve different types of question. This teaching, combined with many practice questions, allows my students to gain confidence tackling problems of all varieties, setting them up for academic success.
