About Smiti

I am a graduate of UCLA engineering and have been teaching students math and science for three years. My past experiences include teaching at a science camp and volunteering at middle schools in LA to teach students engineering skills. I was also a writing tutor to high school students for two years.

I like to structure lessons around problem solving, because I think that is a great way to really understand math and physics concepts. I start by giving an overview of the concept, with equations if applicable. Then we dive into solving problems where we apply those ideas and equations.
