A former masters student in engineering. After graduating I setup my own company in yacht design and marine engineering. Maths has a strong focus in all of the work I do which has given me a really deep understanding of how to best use the mathematical first principles in the real world.

I like to break down any problem and make sure all the individual parts are understood before tackling the full problem. Often this includes comparisons to daily activities that are better understood. I’ve also developed lots of my own memory techniques for remembering how to approach different problems too.
