About Jacob
I'm former military and am currently studying mechanical engineering at the University of Texas at San Antonio. I studied Aeronautical Engineering at the United States Air Force Academy for 2 semesters before departing the military for health reasons. I deeply enjoy mathematics and feel fulfilled helping others succeed with me.

I tend to teach by building from what is already known. I try to avoid repetition and direct lecturing, but rather try to lead others to the correct answer. When learning , I always found it far more helpful when instructors provided specific assistance based on where I was struggling, and I do my best to exemplify that in my own teaching.
