About Allison
I am an Engineering Student at Geneva College near Pittsburg. I have over a year of experience tutoring in middle school math. I was the valedictorian at my high school and received the Math Department Award. I like to tutor students in math because I know that when taught correctly, math doesn't have to be "boring" or "hard", instead it can be exciting and beautiful.

I want to help each student improve his/her skills which means that lessons will differ based on the students needs and learning styles. The best ways to learn is through practice, so most of the lesson will be spent working through different practice problems together until the student is able to correctly do the problems without help. I also like to incorporate games into learning to encourage the student and help make learning fun. I have experience tutoring middle school level math, but am open to both younger and older students.
