About Eloise
Hi I'm Eloise and I study English and Philosophy at The University of Sheffield! I am really passionate about Literature and have always loved reading, and my favourite bit about tutoring is teaching others to love reading as well. Whilst I have always enjoyed English and Religious Studies at school I really struggled with my confidence and needed tutoring myself in High School to build this and remind myself that I could do it! I completely understand how daunting tutoring can feel but I aim to create an environment where you feel just as confident to get things wrong and learn as you do to get things right!

I have previous experience in tutoring and mentoring for KS3 level children and loved encouraging students to improve their skills! I am interested in tutoring in English for any ages up to and including GCSE level and happy to do more specific sessions on improving reading or writing skills in particular. Also happy to tutor Religious Studies up to and including GCSE and have A* qualifications studying Christianity, Islam, Ethics, and Philosophy. I offer an initial 30 min free session to get to know your strengths and weaknesses and come up with a lesson by lesson plan tailored to improve specific areas you may struggle with.
