About Christa
An experienced intervention tutor that has also taught mainstream classes in a secondary school setting. I have also worked on a one to one, and group basis with children with SEN difficulties in primary schools; teaching them reading and writing skills.

I am able to tutor most age levels in English Language and Literature, these include the following;
Key Stages 1 and 2

A-Levels (Key Stage 5)
Tutoring can take place at your home, online or at my house. An initial assessment will be made in the first lesson, to establish a differentiated lesson plan for future sessions. This will be tailored to the student's individual needs.
Learning objectives will be achieved through a variety of methods. We will make use of technology, past exam papers, work books, school homework, interactive activities and discussion to aid in understanding. I also strongly believe in helping the student to build confidence in English/English Literature, and will therefore create a nurturing environment for my pupils, where all questions are welcome and encouraged.
