I’m Hollie Gallagher — an experienced professional with a background in executive support and a lifelong passion for English and communication. Having studied English and Film Studies at the University of Aberdeen, I’ve always loved language, storytelling, and helping others express themselves with confidence. Over the years, my career has strengthened my skills in organisation, communication, and patience — qualities that naturally extend into teaching. I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy helping others learn, grow, and find their voice. There’s something incredibly rewarding about watching someone build confidence in their writing, speaking, or comprehension and knowing I’ve played a part in that progress. Teaching English allows me to combine my professional experience, creativity, and people skills in a way that makes a real difference — empowering students to feel capable, articulate, and inspired.
