About Genna
I have been helping people with their learning since I was a peer support worker at high school for pupils who required extra support around scribing for exams.
I graduated in 2008 with an honours degree in English and have since worked to help people with digital literacy, helping them to access computers and tech as well as working closely with young children and their families to help ingrain reading and literature into their lives from an early age. I've run reading groups for children of all age and enjoyed hosting writing groups for adults with additional support needs.
At the moment I am a Project Coordinator for a small charity and have used my writing and communication skills to secure over £250,000 in funding in the last year to help support local children and their families with basic needs such as food and clothing.
