About Godwin
I am a native of Edo State, Nigeria and I've been teaching for over ten years. I have taught over 20 students across the world. I am a graduate of teacher's college in Lagos with an MBA in management.
In my spare time, I like to read mystery novels and play board games with friends.

I am a hard working person who doesn't like to give up. I strive to reach my goals,but most importantly, the goals of my students as they embark on their linguistic journey. I have a grade II Teacher's certificate and i'm particularly keen on teaching english as a second language to middle schoolers from East Asian countries.
My teaching method is to guide my students through the process of english language socialization while addressing some other aspects of my personal philosophy. These aspects include:
a. The learner's pre-exsting knowledge.
b. The social functions of language.
c. Whole language approach.
d. Individual creativity.
e. Student Rapport
f. Teacher self-reflection.
Through a complex interaction between my method of teaching and my personal philosophy, I aim to develop the full potential of my students in the language learning context. I hope that I can foster skills in my students that will prepare them for greater social challenges. In the process, I also hope to continually broaden my cultural awareness while I progress as an instructor.
