I have been teaching around the world and at home for the last nine years, mainly teaching English as a foreign language to students (children and adults) in China.
I studied English Language at University where I took a particularly interest in Language and Sociology (how language influences and is influenced by racism/ sexism/classism) etc. My degree also focused on phonetics, syntax and grammar.
I am very patient, enthusiastic and kind. I adapt classes to the interests and abilities of my students and try to go above and beyond to offer extra help. I am currently learning French. Learning a language is helping me to teach better.
I look forward to meeting and teaching you.

Alexandra is a genuinely kind and caring person! I was a teacher at the same school for two years. All of her students adored her. She knows how to connect with her students and is so patient and invested in their learning. Alexandra is fun and engaging, and knows how to keep learners interested in the lesson. She is exactly what you want in a teacher!
Alexandra is an excellent English teacher and you can trust her 100%! My daughter has been learning English with her for 2 years and she loved Alexandra’s lessons very much. Alexandra is highly experienced, patient, kindly, with un international perspective.
Alexandra has built experience over many years with various maternal tongue students. She is versatile, and adapts her style to the student. She also a very nice person, always kind and friendly.
