About Roisin
I am a qualified English and French secondary school teacher.
Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and French from UCD. Master's in Education (1st Class Honors) from University of Bordeaux, France. Now based in Ireland after 13 years of living and teaching in France.
Experience of teaching English to all ages, young children - adults. I taught English in France for 13 years in primary and secondary schools and in universities. I have taught English for Academic Purposes to undergraduate and postgraduate students in UCD for 6 summers.

* English for academic purposes - lessons for native speakers - university students, help with essay and thesis writing.
* English lessons for international students studying English as a foreign language. Preparation for TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS exams etc.
Lessons adapted to the learner. During the lesson, I type up notes - positives, corrections, and areas for improvement so the learner can focus completely on their English production. At the end of the lesson, I then email the student the lesson notes. Emphasis on building confidence.
