About Rowena
I had a passion for literature from a young age, inspired by a childhood love of books. I studied literature throughout my time at school, before deciding to apply to the University of Southampton, where my love of literature grew. My interests at university ranged from modern representations of Greek literature to the history of poetry, and I continuously enjoy exploring new texts, themes and ideas.

English literature is a core subject. Studying literature helps us to understand the world around us, opens up questions about identity, morality, politics and more! With a passion for literature ranging from the works of Shakespeare to modern dystopias, from Old English texts to postmodern plays, I hope to share my enthusiasm with students of all ages.
