About Olivia
I am an English BA student at the University of Leeds. Having had a tutor myself during A Levels I know how beneficial this form of tailored, 1-on1 teaching can be and love to share my knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject. Previously I have worked as a swimming teacher for children aged from 3 to 13 and love to watch students grow in their ability and confidence.

Lessons are tailored to the individual student and vary depending on the stage of education the student is at. For a younger student I focus on developing their enjoyment of the subject through creative writing and regular reading aloud as this lays the foundations for great success in later education. For GCSE and A Level students I have a variety of effective methods for successful essay writing in both exams and coursework. Alongside essay planning and writing, I can explore a huge range of exciting reading materials and creative writing practices as I believe it Is important that learning is not solely exam orientated.
