About Eve
I am friendly and understanding because I want my students to feel comfortable and happy in my lessons. My aim is to aid them in any way - whatever their needs!
I am currently about to enter my 3rd year of English Literature at University therefore I write essays all the time! In both English Literature and English Language at GCSE I achieved A* (8). At A Level I received an A in English Literature and an A in History, another essay subject.
I have experience teaching primary school level literacy, reading and writing as I have tutored 6-8 year olds so I am very patient and love talking with kids!

My soul aim is to listen to the student's needs and design my lessons around the areas they would like to improve!
Literacy for younger students: I make lessons engaging. I provide spelling and phonics games to make them feel comfortable whilst they learn.
Essay skills for older students: I will teach how to plan and structure essays effectively whether this be for essays written under time conditions or for coursework. I will also teach how to critically analyse a text. Lessons may include going over essay examples as well as the student's own essays.
