About Cat
I have always loved writing. I wrote as often as I can in my free time and make sure I have at least one class every semester that will be very essay driven. I really enjoy writing essays and have found that if you can get the structure right, you will do very well.
I am new to teaching, but I intend to become a college professor, so this would be the first step in that direction.

I am a strong writer with very creative tendencies. I have found in my time as a student that teachers enjoy reading out of the box creative essays more than a run of the mill essay that just completes the assignment.
For example:
My first English final in college was written about fandom history, which I am very passionate about. I received an A.
In my first college literature class, we were to write about the Odyssey and argue a point. That was our only limitation. I created a Pokemon team for Odysseus and argued why each Pokemon would fit perfectly in his party. I received a high A.
This past semester, in my class about Genocide, we were meant to write an essay arguing whether or not Anti-Semitism was a necessary precursor for the Holocaust. I argued that it was and found some very compelling evidence in a psychology paper to back me up. My professor had never seen that research before in all her years teaching Political Science. I received a high B.
