I am an English PhD with over 10 years of experience teaching university-level literature and writing courses. I also have considerable experience teaching high school students wishing to develop their language skills in preparation for university studies. I am TEFL certified.
I love discussing all things literary and feel gratified seeing students meet their writing and language development goals.

I approach teaching as a coach. My lessons are focused on skills development rather than just content delivery, and they are tailored to individual student needs and goals.
Typically, I coach high school and university-level students to do the following:

- Construct literary analysis arguments
- Draft and revise strong academic essays
- Conduct academic research
- Comply with academic integrity guidelines
