About Trisha

Hi! I’m a friendly, patient English tutor who enjoys helping people feel more confident speaking English.

I have several years of experience working with U.S.-based clients, where clear communication, active listening, professionalism, and attention to detail are key parts of my everyday work. Through my experience as a Virtual Assistant and Customer Service professional, I regularly communicate with people from different backgrounds and adapt my communication style depending on the person and situation.

As your tutor, I want you to feel comfortable speaking English—even when you make mistakes. I believe mistakes are a natural and important part of learning, so I create a supportive environment where you can practice without feeling embarrassed or judged.

I’m patient, organized, and committed to making each lesson useful and relevant to your goals. Whether you want to improve your everyday conversations, pronunciation, vocabulary, workplace communication, or simply become more confident speaking English, I’ll do my best to help you make steady progress.

Most importantly, I’m here to meet you where you are and help you grow from there. You don’t have to be perfect to start speaking—you just need a safe place to practice.

About the lesson

Speak English With Confidence, Not Just From a Textbook

Learning English doesn’t have to feel intimidating or overly academic. My goal is to help you feel comfortable speaking English in real-life situations, whether you’re having a casual conversation, meeting new people, traveling, working, or simply expressing yourself more confidently.

My lessons are friendly, practical, and conversation-focused. Instead of spending the entire lesson memorizing grammar rules, we’ll spend plenty of time actually speaking. I’ll gently correct mistakes, explain why something sounds more natural, and help you build vocabulary and expressions that you can use in everyday conversations.

My Teaching Approach

I believe the best way to improve speaking is to practice speaking in a comfortable environment without being afraid of making mistakes.

Depending on your level and goals, our lessons may include:

Listening and comprehension practice
Pronunciation and sentence correction

I’ll adapt each lesson to your pace, personality, and learning goals. If you’re shy or nervous about speaking, we can start slowly and gradually build your confidence.

What Can a Typical Lesson Look Like?

A typical lesson may begin with a relaxed conversation or warm-up to get you speaking. From there, we’ll work on a specific topic or situation, learn useful vocabulary and expressions, and practice using them naturally.

For example:

Warm-up → Conversation → Vocabulary → Practice → Corrections & Feedback → Review

Each lesson gives you plenty of opportunities to speak, make mistakes, learn from them, and try again.

I’m not here to make you feel like you’re being tested. I want our lessons to feel like a conversation with someone who genuinely helps you improve.

I’m patient, approachable, and encouraging, and I understand that everyone learns differently. I’ll celebrate your progress while also helping you recognize the areas where you can improve.

Most importantly, you don’t need to speak perfect English before you start. That’s exactly what practice is for!
