About Aidan
I am a university student with a passion for literature and the English language. My journey began with reading, but quickly grew into a love for the subject and writing as well. However, it has not always been easy, and I recall how much I would struggle in some of my own English classes. My hope is that I can help students so they do not have to struggle as I did. Furthermore, I have taken courses I never thought I would when I was in high school, such as English grammar and syntax. Safe to say most people would not have enjoyed that class. But that is my second hope, to not only tutor, but to instill a love for the subject itself. Outside of English, I love the outdoors and the mountains, and I understand the importance of having fun outside the classroom.

As I have attended higher education schools my entire life, I understand the struggle when it comes to writing. Having had the opportunity to experience it all, from transcriptions to dozens of essays, courses, the SAT, and the ACT, I am there to help you work through what is difficult and find some enjoyment in English at the end of it all. I teach lessons for high schoolers, as well as middle schoolers who are beginning their journey in English. I can specifically tutor in classes such as English Composition, AP Literature, General English, grammar, and syntax. My approach is simple: ask the right questions, adapt to the student's needs, and then proceed as effectively and joyfully as possible.
