About Giovanna
My teachers and peers would often describe me as resilient, empathetic, and essentially anything but complacent. I am always working for the next best thing, carrying the belief that there is always room for improvement.
I believe that teaching is an extremely rewarding job, as I am able to use my passion for English as a means to help another individual. One of my key aims is to show the power of literature, not just through an academic lens, but by showing how it is relevant in modern society. Additionally, I have also studied Drama at A-Level (grade A achieved), thus allowing me to help your child appreciate pieces of theatre through both a theatrical and literary perspective as a means to employ a sense of depth to their knowledge.

As someone who has been recently accepted into King’s College London to study English, and achieved a grade A at A-Level for English Literature, I know what it takes to help your child improve and succeed in their exams. Sessions will place a particular emphasis on exam technique and essay writing skills; always matching your child’s pace. I will be encouraging your child to experiment with various revision techniques and strategies, as well as exploring a range of key terms and phrases to expand your child’s vocabulary in order to achieve the higher grades.
