About Robin
I am semi-retired and a student. I have been tutoring off and on for over 30 years. I have worked in a variety of companies and organizations ranging from medical transport to law firms and am able to converse about a wide range of topics and help students build their English language vocabulary. Most recently I have assisted native Spanish speakers who are ESL students with reading and speaking skills. I also have extensive experience translating documents from English to Spanish as well from Spanish to English.

My approach to teaching is to give patient and positive encouragement. Whether it has been training someone to perform a task at a job or helping a student to improve their English I find that this approach works best. Anyone who is learning anything will have a better chance of success if they are reminded that they can master the task at hand or improve their language skills.
