About Kate

I have over 10 years of tutoring experience, and always have a lot of fun teaching my students. I will never be that boring and strict tutor that makes you dread our session every week. I think we've all experienced that and I never wanted to be that teacher! So here I am, ready to make learning a new language fun!! I tutor English, French and German, as I speak all 3 languages fluently. I grew up in Alberta, Montreal, and Toronto and lived in Germany for 7 years. I look forward to meeting you! About the lesson

Hello! My name is Kate and I am German/Canadian. I was born in Bremen, Germany and lived in Canada for 18 years. I grew up speaking German and English, and I lived in Germany for 7 years, just returning back to Alberta in 2022. I have over 10 years of experience as a private tutor. I tutor English, French and German, as I am fluent in all 3 languages.

My teaching methods are very unique to each student, based on their individual learning needs/skills. Some learn well visually, others by speaking, writing, whatever works best for you, I will always work with you.

I decided to become the tutor I wish I had when I was younger.

Thank you Kate!!! You have helped my children improve their German so much faster than I had ever thought possible. We are a German/Canadian household and I am so lucky to have found Kate! She makes the lessons fun even when they’re online - the kids love it! She speaks fluent German with no English accent whatsoever. She is great!!! Kate is an amazing and fun tutor! My daughter and son look toward to their lessons every week because she just makes it fun. She is not like other tutors we have had before, she is exactly what I had been looking for for so long! The kids learn AND have fun. My son’s English has gone from 75% to 93%. Insane! And my daughter’s from 85% to almost 100% average… I am so grateful to Kate. Thank you!
