About Nicole

Nicole studied English Literature at the University of Oxford before earning a graduate degree in Writing from Columbia University. She was awarded a Wallace Stegner Fellowship in Fiction at Stanford University and has more than eight years' experience helping students, professionals, and advanced English learners communicate with greater confidence, fluency, and precision in academic, professional, and social settings.

About the lesson

My lessons are highly personalized, but they are also structured and goal-oriented. Together we'll identify your English level and the situations in which you most want to communicate with confidence, whether in professional or social settings, and build the fluency, and precision you need to succeed.

Between lessons, you'll receive carefully chosen reading, writing, and speaking assignments designed to reinforce what we've covered. Rather than relying on passive conversation practice, I use targeted exercises and regular feedback to help you make steady, measurable progress.

Students should expect to be challenged. In return, they can expect to become noticeably more articulate, versatile, and confident in spontaneous conversation and writing.
