About Briann
During the five years working on my dual major in English and Social Anthropology, I was a college aid tutoring English and Writing to incoming students at my school's Learning Center at the library. Over those five years, I must have helped at least a few hundred, if not a few thousand students with assignments from their respective degree backgrounds.
Working with incoming students to achieve their writing goals was a fulfilling experience; an aspect of college that I missed the most after finally graduating.
I'm here to continue my passion for helping students (and anyone else interested in writing) to achieve their writing goals thereby gaining confidence to continue improving their skills overall.

Writing is hard. Even the most experienced writers struggle with getting their thoughts down on paper in an organized way. But people who love to (or who have to) write have found ways to make the challenge of communicating on paper less insanity-inducing.
I love writing. And I love teaching others how to write well. Ideally, my lessons are for those who struggle with their writing and are looking to build confidence along with their skills. I want to share all the tips, hacks, and tricks of the trade I learned and developed in the 5 years I worked as a college-level English tutor.
Trying to develop a darn good thesis statement, I'll show you how to brainstorm effectively. Need a second eye for that paper you just finished laboring over, I'll give meaningful feedback. Suffering from writer's block, I'll not only show you how to overcome it but help you develop methods to avoid it more often.
Also, I like to tell corny jokes. I find it helps with the learning process.
