About Kristina
I enjoy helping others, and as a teacher, it is my passion to uplift others. Learning can be a struggle and I want to be here to support you! Learning shouldn't be hard, sometimes a little extra support can change how you learn. Personally, I struggled with math until I was an adult. When I took classes as an adult to help myself with math I realized that everyone learns differently and sometimes you need someone who recognizes that and can help you to be successful. Tutoring taught me so many things and showed me that everyone can learn when presented with material in their learning style. When you are struggling, seeing the information through a different lens can help the material make sense to you. I offer a different lens, a different view of what you are learning.

When working with students I like to complete assessments to learn how you best learn. We will figure out what you are struggling with and fill in the gaps in your knowledge to allow you to be successful. When working through lessons I tailor the material to fit your needs. If you are struggling with writing we can work together with outlines and break down the content you are writing about so you can write in a clear, flowing manner to show your knowledge of the information. If we work on reading I can fill in the gaps in your knowledge and figure out where the struggle lies and how we can fix it. I like to get to know students and formulate lessons to help them where they are struggling so they can be better students and feel more confident in the knowledge they have.
